Zócalo Wall Light

Category: Lighting -> Wall Lamps
Cost: $150
Poly Count: Low poly
EPs Required: None – base game compatible

A three-tile wall lamp that emits a green light, inspired by the wall light in the Zócalo in Babylon 5. It’s base-game compatible, but it can be shifted up and down if you have AL.

The mesh is all of 10 polys and 22 vertices, which I think is fairly decent for a three-tile object. 😉

The lamp has two recolours. In the image below, the lamp is turned on, but it’s surrounded by “normal”, white lights so you can better see what it looks like:

Here, the lamp is still turned on, but it’s the only light in the room. To borrow a phrase from a certain other sci-fi series, it’s green. 😉

  1. Thanks a LOT for the light Nix! Totally downloaded and added to the B5 collection of objects!

    • You’re very welcome! 😀 Glad you like it!

      Also, since the mesh is just a double-sided plane (with an extra little face in each upper corner that pretends to be the bulb and metal part of the original lamp), it can be recoloured into pretty much anything. 🙂 (It’ll still shine green, though – to change that, you’ll have to clone the lamp and change the light name.)

      Maybe you’ve already got them, but in case you don’t and want more B5 lamps, you have Lochley’s floor lamps from The Lost Tales here.
