Happy New Year!

Well, I had hoped to be much more active in 2018 than I have been. Don’t know where this year went, it just whooshed past, and there always seemed to be something to take time and/or spoons away from simming. 😦

But hopefully, this year will be better (seeing how I only posted one item in all of 2018, it’s not as if the bar is set high). I have a couple of things that are very close to being finished, one medieval and one not, that I hope to be able to get out the door… well, before 2020, at least. πŸ˜› And things that were high on my list for 2018 (that sword mod, publishing my medieval fantasy story…) are still high on the list for 2019.

Happy New Year, everybody! 🍸 Here’s to hoping it’s a good one, for all of us. ❀

    • Thanks! And I know you do. πŸ™‚ (But I know you must be sighing and thinking it probably won’t happen this time, either, – and I can’t blame you, seeing how I’ve been talking about it for what, two years now? – but I’ll do my dangdest to make it so. I very much want it, too. πŸ™‚ )

    • Thanks! ❀ Oh yes, I'm very much still around, and I'm not planning on going anywhere any time soon. πŸ™‚ (But if I do go on hiatus or such, I promise I'll always make an announcement to let people know. So as long as you haven't seen me say otherwise, I'm still around and active, even if it's been a while since my last upload.) Hopefully, I'll have something new up soonish, spoons and RL allowing.

  1. *hugs* All the feels re: RL and limited spoons. May 2019 give you spoons enough to open your own flatware shop (all filled with the proper measure of sugar, of course!)

    • *hugs you back* Awww, thank you. ❀ Here's to hoping 2019 is a great one, filled with spoons, sporks and other assorted cutlery. πŸ™‚

Edit: Forgot to say, the counter avalanche is approaching rapidly. Be afraid. Be very afraid. πŸ˜‰

  2. LOL! I love your line about cutlery! The first few months of my year will be filled with knives, but I couldn’t be happier or more excited. I finally have a firm diagnosis and treatment plan, which gives me hope that the future holds an abundance of sturdy, shiny spoons.

And I’m not scared of an avalanche! I stand on the mountaintop, teeth bared to the wind! Bring it on!!
Seriously, I can’t wait to see what you’ve done. It sounds awesome! ^_^

    • Hee. πŸ˜‰ Very glad to hear it’s knives in a good way, that you have a diagnosis and a plan of attack. May it result in enough spoons to supply a small country. ❀

And be careful what you wish for, as they say. πŸ˜‰ Seriously, though, hope you'll like it. It's all your fault, you know. πŸ˜›

  3. I have but one concern: how many more Absolutely Essential Things do you have pending that, until you made them, I didn’t realise I had to have?

    • Well, that depends. How much free disc space do you have? πŸ˜‰

Just kidding, I don’t have that many things planned. But there are… a few, yes. Whether you’d consider any of them Absolutely Essential is another matter, of course – I mean, you wouldn’t need something like a functional pillory if your medieval Sims keep to the straight and narrow (well, unless you like to torture them just for fun, but nobody does that… right?). But hopefully, there are one or two, or three, or ten, or 3,692 things in there you’ll find useful. πŸ™‚
