Yes, there are lots of other things I’m working on, some that are almost ready for upload, but I just realised it’s been almost a year since I last uploaded something and more than four months since I made a post, so I thought I’d best put something out there lest someone I don’t know from Adam takes it upon themselves to declare that I’ve left the community never to come back or somesuch (this has happened before). 🙄 Besides, sometimes it’s nice to take a break from BHAVs and other complex things and just make something plain and simple, you know? Like recolours. 🙂

Backstory: In early 2017, I made a couple of scented candles – as in, lights with snapdragon effects – loosely inspired by two IKEA ditto, BRÄCKA and SPRALLA (that I don’t think they sell any more). I quite like them and frequently use them in my own game, but I wanted some more, simmish recolours. So today I bring you twenty-two plumbbob and freezer bunny recols for my SPRALLA scented candle, all with patterns from Colourlovers. (Have I told you I love that site? I love that site!)

We’ll start with the plain plumbbob recols. There are nine of those:

You also get seven seasonal plumbbob recols (At first I was only going to make spring/summer ones, since it’s summer here in the northern hemisphere, but then I decided to make some for autumn and winter as well – after all, I don’t know which season you have in your game. Or IRL, for that matter.)

After some consideration, I threw in four recols for the candle as well, in case your Sims don’t like vanilla and lemon (or whatever you think the original candles might smell like). So you actually get twenty-six recols all in all:

The mesh has been included in the zip file below, together with the scent emitter needed for the candle to work (I’m serious about the “DoNotDelete” in the file name, BTW; if you delete the emitter, you’ll just get jump bugs, no scent), but in case you also want the BRÄCKA candle and/or more SPRALLA recolours, or want to know more about how these candles work, I suggest you head over to the original post. 🙂
