Feel like some more candles? π
These are my gifts for the 2016 Fishmas Advent Calendar at leefish.nl. I know not everybody frequent that site, so I’m going to share them here as well, now that the creators of the gifts at long last have been revealed over there. π
I actually made four gifts for the Advent calendar, but the fourth one, which was fulfilling a wish, will be in a separate post. (You’ll understand why when you see it.)
You’ll find a download button after each gift, but there will also be one at the very end of the post, in case you want to download all of them in one swoop.
Merry Fishmas!
Gift No. 1
The first gift – that got to be the gift for Day 1, much to my delight – is a candlestick, based on the IKEA ENIGHET candlestick for three candles. (Don’t look at me like that, I’m Swedish, all right? IKEA is in our very genome. π )
It’s of course a functional light, so you’ll find it under Lighting -> Table Lamps for $99. Base-game compatible (really), poly (1286).
It comes with three recols for the candlestick and eight for the candles:

(It’s hard to tell from the screenshot, but in game the gold and silver recols are shiny and look much more like actual gold and silver.)
Gift No. 2
The second gift is eight glass lanterns: one for tables (and other surfaces), one to hang from the ceiling and no less than six to hang in the window – three high (off-centre to the left, centred and off-centre to the right) and three low; this to make them work with as many different kinds of windows as possible. They also come with collection files – choose according to your game setup.

Lighting -> Table Lamps, $80,

Lighting -> Ceiling Lamps, $76, poly (1412)
Lighting -> Wall Lamps, $74 (low) and $75 (high), poly (1376)
All of the lanterns are base-game compatible. They can be moved with the quartertile cheat, and the window ones can also be shifted if you have AL (even though they won’t shift very far upwards because of the size of the mesh).
They all have the same seven recolours for the candle and the glass, which can be mixed and matched as you see fit. The table and ceiling-hanging lanterns are stand-alones, but the window lanterns are repositoried to the ceiling one (the mesh names reflect this).
Gift No. 3
And the third gift is… not a candle at all, but a snowglobe. This one is just deco, it doesn’t do anything other than look pretty, but it’s of course animated. Base-game compatible, in Decorative -> Misc. for $75, poly (1618)
It has three recols for the snowman builder and four for the base:
Or, you can download all of the gifts in one fell swoop:
Finding Christmas gifts in late January might just be one of my favourite things! It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside and gets me through the cold winter, that and hot chocolate:-) You make the prettiest things and I love the candles you can hang in the window. Best wishes from a fellow Scandinavian. Tusen takk!
*Scandinavian high-five* Tack sjΓ€lv! π I’m very glad you like these (the window candles are my favourites, too, but don’t tell the other ones I said so π ), and that you like my creations. And I agree completely, hot chocolate is a must this time of year. Couldn’t survive Scandinavian winter without it. π
,,,and a very Merry Fishmas to you too! (and it was!!!)
I thought these were from you π Thank you sooooo much β€
It was, wasn’t it? π I love Fishmas – and I loved that so many different people contributed, it wasn’t just the usual suspects. And there were so many great gifts!
I’m that obvious, huh? π But yeah, with some (but not all!) gifts, I was 99.7% sure who’d made them, either because of the creator’s style or because they were right up a certain creator’s alley. π Glad you liked these then, and glad you like ’em now. β€ (BTW, I've updated the candles to have a warmer glow, like that of the scented candles, so you might want to get these even if you have the Leefish ones. File names are the same, so you can just let them overwrite.)
Everything is wonderful and greatly appreciated, but that little table lamp is especially adorable. It is going to see a LOT of use! Is it hard to recolour? I’d love to try for a beeswax ivory shade.
Sorry for the late reply here, as well. And thank you, I’m glad you like them all! π And no, the table lamp isn’t hard to recolour at all, the UV map is very straightforward (I can send it to you, if you’d like?). Solid colours are best, though, patterns might look a bit squished unless you stretch them out.
